The SBNL library is always buzzing with activities and events. The easiest way to stay in the loop is by watching out for posts from MWR specific to the library. The funnest way to stay in the loop is just by popping by the library and grabbing a calendar of events! Right now, the library has an awesome summer reading program where you (yes adults can play too!) can log your reading hours and win prizes. The library is also hosting weekly crafts, a cooking program, and special themed parties throughout the weeks during summer break.
A Chill Community Space
Looking for a comfy place to read, study, or relax? The library offers cozy seating areas, study spaces, and free Wi-Fi. The staff is friendly and ready to help you find what you need or recommend a great read. Need to host a boat event? There’s a fantastic conference room next door that’s regularly booked for FRGs, training sessions, homeschool meet-ups, and various library programs and events.
How to Get There
The Sub Base New London Library is easy to find on base in building 164 on Grayling Ave.
Tip: Park in the lot closest to the Dealey Center and you can enter from there. Once inside the Dealey Center there’s steps up in the back right corner.
The library is open Monday to Wednesday from 9am-5pm, Thursday 9am-7pm, Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. The library is closed on Sundays and holidays.
