Katie, a proud New England native, spent most of her life cozied up in New Hampshire… until she met a submariner at a dive bar who whisked her away for a life of adventure. Ten years later and her husband is still surprising her with new duty stations across the world, and a never-ending, unpredictable schedule- Yay! Recently, Katie traded in her LL Bean slippers for flip flops when she and her family moved to Hawaii. She enjoys exploring the island with her three kids (which is easier when her husband is around), reading a book on the beach (which rarely happens), and getting a full 8 hours of sleep. She is full of sarcasm and thinks the hard days go by a lot faster if you give yourself a little grace.
