Munson’s Chocolates
For three generations, Munson’s Chocolates has been Connecticut’s largest retail chocolate manufacturer. Their local shop in Old Mistick Village offers hundreds of delicious selections from elegant gourmet truffles to chocolate fudge slow-cooked in copper kettles.
Mystic Sweet Shoppe
Located in the heart of downtown Mystic, Mystic Sweet Shoppe is your classic, whimsical counter-serve offering ice cream, chocolates, candy, coffee, drinks and gifts. Look out for their fun holiday specials, like chocolate charcuterie boards for Valentine’s Day.
Mystic River Chocolate Cafe
Mystic River Chocolate Cafe is tucked away on Water Street and features their signature organic “bean-to-bar” chocolate creations, from chocolate bars and barks to truffles and turtles. The cafe also sells thick, rich European-style drinking chocolate, local-roasted coffee and espresso and handcrafted soft-service ice cream.
Candy Shop

Kenzie’s Fudge & Chocolate Shop
Mystic’s newest sweets shop, Kenzie’s Fudge and Chocolate Shop opened this past March. The sister store to the Candy Shop around the corner, Kenzie’s specializes in old fashioned caramel apples, a variety of milk and dark chocolates and homemade fudge.
Chocolate Shell
Venturing out of Mystic, Chocolate Shell in Old Lyme prides itself as the “Sweetest Place in Town” where your grandmother would take you to buy your favorite sweets.
