Four Hawaiian Experiences to Gift For the Holidays

The holiday season is upon us, and here are some great experiences and activities that would make great gifts:

Hawaii Nautical

Hawaii Nautical offers a variety of activities and excursions. Book a cruise to swim with sea turtles or relax on a sunset cruise. All excursions can be found on their website or through the MWR ITT office. Call (808-234-7245) to include a military discount to your booking. 

Climb Works Keana Farms

CLIMB Works Keana Farms offers a three-hour guided zipline tour that includes Oahu’s longest ziplines ranging from 500 feet to nearly half a mile long. Participants explore a working agricultural farm on eight world-class dual lines, two rappels, three sky bridges, a fun ATV adventure to the ridgetop, and other unique surprises. Along the way you’ll learn about Hawaii’s rich history and culture while taking in constant panoramic ocean and mountain views of Oahu’s famous North Shore. The tour is for ages seven and up, with a 270lb weight limit. Ask for a Military Discount when booking (808-200-7906).

Ko Hana Rum Tasting Tour 

A great experience to try is the Ko Hana Rum Tasting Tour! Stand in front of their custom rum still and learn how native Hawaiian sugar cane is distilled into one of the finest Agricole rums in the world. Wander through our garden of native Hawaiian sugar canes and learn their history. Finish at the tasting bar and get the chance to compare their white and aged rums side by side. Tours are available daily and can be booked on the phone 808-649-0830 or online. Ask for the Kama’aina discount. By order of the Mayor of Honolulu, all guest 12 years of age and older will be required to show proof of vaccination with a valid ID or present a negative test result to enter the tasting room.

Kualoa Private Nature Reserve Tours

Kualoa’s mission is to enrich people’s lives by preserving Kualoa’s sacred lands and celebrating its history. All tours and commercial activities enable Kualoa to keep the lands undeveloped so that future generations will be able to enjoy them as well.
