Mother’s Day is one week away, so consider this your reminder! Now that we’ve returned to HPCON Bravo, we hope you can venture out and enjoy a meal with your sailor and family! We’ve rounded up a list of great ideas, from traditional brunch buffets to DIY takeout kits, there’s something for everyone:

Mother’s Day Brunch at The Irons Restaurant & Bar

Celebrate Mother’s Day with a special themed and socially-distant brunch buffet at Hilton Mystic! The brunch will take place in the ballroom, allowing plenty of space for guests to spread out comfortably. The menu includes a variety of brunch stations (served to guests). Mommy & Me Tea at Sweet Hill Farm

Join in the tradition of Afternoon Tea inside Sweet Hill Farm’s indoor garden greenhouse! Go through the traditions of high tea and give the young ladies and young gents ( in their best hat or ties) while you dine on assorted sandwiches, salads, charcuterie and desserts provided by Rustic Boutique Catering & Events. Mother’s Day Brunch at The Shipwright’s Daughter

The Shipwright’s Daughter is offering a special Mother’s Day themed brunch from 11am to 3pm. The meal costs $50 per person, $25 for children 12 and younger.


Brunch & Bottomless Mimosas at Jealous Monk

Treat yourself to Jealous Monk’s infamous bottomless mimosas! The European-style social hall and beer garden is a great destination at the Olde Mistick Village. Please note Jealous Monk only accepts reservations for parties of eight or more people, so plan to arrive early or kill time shopping around Olde Mistick Village while you wait.


DIY Lobster Roll Kits From Captain Scott’s

Captain Scott’s Lobster Dock is offering DIY Lobster Roll Kits for Mother’s Day! Order by Wednesday, May 5th for Saturday or Sunday pick up. Lobster Rolls come with a cream cheese brownie from You Take the Cake for $25, Tom’s Famous Stuffies $30 per dozen and Scallops Wrapped in Bacon for $30 per dozen. Brunch Kits from The Tin Peddler

North Stonington’s newest eatery The Tin Peddler is offering fun brunch kits for Mother’s Day! You can choose from three different kits, French Toast, Bagel & Lox or Quiche. Each kit costs $25 and serves two. Orders must be placed by Thursday, May 6th and picked up on Saturday, May 8th. For more details, click here.
