With summer approaching the Lowcountry, what a better way to cool off than a smoothie? Charleston boasts a wide selection of smoothies and smoothie bowls. Go beyond Tropical Smoothie Café and take a deep dive into fresh fruit, cold pressed juices, and many, many toppings.
Here’s five great spots to try this summer:
Juiceria Smoothie Bar and Café
Owners Jonathon and Taylor Best have created one of the best smoothie joints in the 843. Juiceria aims at providing customers with high quality ingredients and a customer service experience that will keep them coming back for me. They believe investing in yourself and that begins with healthy smoothie and juice options.
With their stunning bowl creations, Huriyali has become a favorite among the health and wellness community. Serving up the most fresh and creative bowls is Huriyali, a quaint stop along Huger St. They offer coffees, teas, light meals, and some of the most picture-perfect bowls and smoothies. Foodies, this ones for you. As you wander downtown, make sure to stop in and grab something fresh and delicious.
Located Downtown off of King St., Daniel Island, James Island, and Mount Pleasant, Beech is your go to for delicious and fresh smoothies. Not only do they boast a selection of fresh juices, smoothies, and bowls, but they offer salads, wraps, poke bowls, and bagels. Whether you want a quick sipper or a light and refreshing meal, Beech has it all.
Hustle Smoothie Bar
Calling all vegans and the gluten free gang members, this ones for you. Conveniently located in the Mt. Pleasant Towne Center is Hustle Smoothie Bar. Enjoy a fresh smoothie while you shop or grab one for on the go. They’ve got more than just smoothies too. They offer bowls, wellness shots, grab and go snacks and food, and just about everything on toast.
Blend Juice Bar
Coming in as Charleston’s newest smoothie and juice bar, Blend Juice Bar serves up fresh, organic smoothies, juices, and salads. Working to curate a menu focused on local produce and founding relationships with local farmers, founder Jesse Derbyshire seeks to promote the health benefits of exquisitely pressed juices, fresh fruit smoothies, and a salad bar. The goal: make food fast and healthy, not just fast food.
