Explore a Nature Classroom With Tinkergarten at Hickham Air Force Base

Hawaii friends- looking for something fun to do with your littles during the day? Come join me weekly, on Hickham Air Force Base at a Tinkergarten class!

Tinkergarten is an outdoor nature classroom for children that promotes an appreciation to explore the world around us. We offer guided outdoor learning classes for kids and practical guidance to build purposeful play into your child’s weekly routine.

I’m hosting two winter sessions on Tuesday and Friday mornings, starting the week of January 17!

For $219, a package of classes includes:

  • 9 live class sessions in a local greenspace
  • Videos, activities, and resources support playful learning all week long
  • Proven protocols to keep learning safe and fun
  • Small class size (up to 15 children)
  • A seasonal map and Winter 2023/Problem Solving iron-on badge
  • Parent/guardian attends with child
  • Mixed-age classes for kids 1.5 to 8 years

This winter we will be focusing on problem solving. You can see what’s in store this season by checking out a map of the winter curriculum here. To learn more about Tinkergarden, see FAQs.

This is my first season leading and I’m pretty excited. I’m excited to watch my son interact with peers around his age (something that’s been hard with a COVID baby) and it will be so good for us to have a planned activity each week. I am also really excited to meet other families and build a fun little community.
