10 Valentine’s Day Events Near Kitsap County

And just like that February is upon us! Whether your sailor is home or out at sea, we hope you can find time to enjoy Valentine’s Day in your own special way. Here in Kitsap County, there’s a number of events and activities to consider! From cider and wine tastings to maker’s markets and scavenger hunts, there’s something for everyone.

Here’s 10 events we have our eyes on:

Valentine’s 4 Course Cider Dinner

Cider lovers, this one is for you! On Tuesday, February 14, Poulsbo’s Bushel & Barrel Ciderhouse is hosting a Hawaiian themed four course meal for Valentine’s Day! Tickets are $60 per person and includes the delicious four course meal paired with four ciders or drinks of preference for substitution. Also included is a momento to take home.


Frosty Fest

Not exactly Valentine’s Day themed, but a fun date night nonetheless! Head over to Poulsbo over the weekend of February 10-12 for this fun winter festival. Events include a Scavenger Hunt, Poker Run, Viking Games, Glogg Competition, Whisky Tasting, Music and more!


Valentine’s Makers Market

Yoked Farmhouse & Brewery in Port Orchard is hosting a Valentine’s Makers Market on Tuesday, February 7! Shop from local artisans and Valentine’s Day gifts while you enjoy $1 off beers and wine. The brewery recently announced their new kitchen is open. Their menu offers simple, yet incredibly tasty food that won’t break the bank. Vegetarian and kid-friendly options, as well.


Wine on the Rock: Wine & Chocolate

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with wine and chocolate pairings at four Bainbridge Island wineries. Fletcher Bay, Rolling Bay, Eleven and Eagle Harbor wineries will each be pairing their wine flights with chocolates. Ticket includes chocolate and wine tasting at each of the four wineries and a special event wine glass. Get your tickets for Thursday/Friday, February 9 & 10 or Saturday, February 11.


Hearts in the Park Scavenger Hunt

Fun and free for the kids – visit Poulsbo’s Muriel Williams Waterfront Park and hunt for hearts! During the month of February, paper hearts are hidden around the park to discover. Count them and see how many you can find! Stop by Sluy’s for sweet treats afterwards.


Black Light Paint & Sip: Valentine’s Edition

On Tuesday, February 14, head over to the Bangor Recreation Center from 6-8pm for this fun event! Enjoy a spin on paint and sip with painting in black light. UV reactive paint will shine bright as you paint your Valentine-themed canvas. Pre-registration is required by Monday, Feb. 13 ($30 per person). The price includes an instructor, supplies, glow necklaces, and soda. Adult beverages are sold separately.


Valentine’s Day Dinner & A Movie: Phantom of the Opera

On Tuesday, February 14, celebrate Valentine’s Day with dinner and a movie at Bremerton’s historic Admiral Theatre! Follow their Facebook page for updates as the date gets closer, we couldn’t find much more information.


Belfair Saturday Market

On Saturday, February 11 from 10am-3pm, check out the Valentine’s Day themed Belfair Saturday Market! Shop amongst 20 local vendors and a fun, themed photo booth by Heather Reese Photography.


Love at the Zoo: Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium

Take the kids down to Tacoma’s Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium Feb. 11-12 and watch animals enjoy Valentine-themed enrichments like heart-shaped ice treats, bamboo hearts, whipped cream, watermelon, and more! Want to say “I Love You” in a furry special way? Send a Valentine with a Zoo animal design and cute pun! Download and print, or send a free e-card. Or, make one in our plaza during Love at the Zoo.


After Hours: Valentine’s Day at the Seattle Aquarium

Hop on the Bremerton or Bainbridge Island ferries for low-key Valentine’s Day fun! Adults will take over the Seattle Aquarium from 6:30-9:30pm for this 21+ event, featuring music from the Indigenous band Khu.éex’, opportunities to experience our habitats at night, a variety of animal-themed activities throughout the Aquarium, a no-host bar, food available for purchase and more.
